and ask to receive booking details when they are
available.
You will receive at least five months advance warning
of forthcoming productions by post: fill out the booking
form and return it to us as soon as possible with three
alternative dates (as our dates are taken up very quickly
it's best not to wait to discuss them at a committee
meeting)
If we can offer you a date we will normally visit the
hall to check out the facilities. There's no need to
worry at this stage as we play many different kinds of
halls: some with stages, some without. We also bring all
our own lighting and sound equipment, stage set and
costumes.
Once a performance date has been agreed, we will
offer you a contract. We undertake to provide the full
stage production, publicity materials and programmes
while the village hall committee agrees to provide the
venue, distribute publicity locally, make and sell
tickets and provide volunteers to seat the audience and
sell refreshments on the night.
The company normally arrives at the hall around the
middle of the afternoon and we ask that the hall is kept
free at that time.
Performances last approximately two hours including
an interval.
Raffles can be organised and bars can be run by
volunteers during the interval to provide additional
revenue towards the parish hall fund.
At the end of the night, after everyone has enjoyed
the performance, the company will take approximately one
hour to pack away.
