Site specific and open air performance

Outdoor performance has a magic all of its own. Audiences can relax with a picnic as they watch the performance, while parents of young children are reassured that the occasional word or fidget won’t disturb other people’s enjoyment.

Working with rural promoters, Chalkfoot has created an outdoor touring circuit in Kent and Sussex comprised of village greens, recreation grounds, school playgrounds and gardens. We have also created stunning, full-scale Shakespeare productions in the grounds of Canterbury’s St. Augustine’s Abbey.

Lower funding levels mean that we are not currently offering regular open-air events, but the situation may change in future!
